Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen (14) calendar days without giving any reason, in accordance with Articles 102 et seq. of Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007 (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the Spanish Consumer Protection Act).
The period begins on the day on which you, or a third party indicated by you other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the product. If the order includes several items delivered separately, the period begins when you receive the last of them.
How to exercise it
You simply need to notify us by email at hola@lumeraslp.com before the period ends, stating the order number and the items you wish to return. You do not have to explain the reason. You may use the form shown below, although this is not obligatory.
We will reply confirming receipt and giving you the return instructions.
Condition of the product
The product must be returned in a condition that allows it to be resold: complete, with its accessories and its original packaging. You are responsible only for any diminished value resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product. In other words: you may open it and try it, as you would in a physical shop.
Exceptions on hygiene grounds
In accordance with Article 103(e) of Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007 (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, the Spanish Consumer Protection Act), there is no right of withdrawal for sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of hygiene and which were unsealed after delivery. This exception applies in particular to earplugs: if the seal has been opened, we cannot accept their return. If the seal is intact, the right remains fully available.
Cost of returning the goods
The direct cost of returning the product is payable by the customer, unless the product is defective or does not correspond to what was ordered, in which case we bear that cost.
Refund
We will refund all payments received, including the standard delivery costs, without undue delay and in any event within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the day you notify us of your decision. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product back or until you supply evidence of having sent it back, whichever is the earlier. The refund is made using the same means of payment used for the purchase, at no cost to you.
Defective products
If the product arrives damaged or incomplete, or does not correspond to what was ordered, write to us within 14 days of receipt attaching photographs. We will resolve the matter by replacement or by a full refund, at no cost to you. Irrespective of that period, the products carry a three-year statutory guarantee of conformity from delivery.
